1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Slug ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Slug is a vector animation editor software package. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or the accounts of other users; (c) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or interfere with its operation; or (d) use the Service to distribute malware or other harmful code.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service.

6. AS-IS, no warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 5 through 10 survive termination.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
